The Long Road of Creating A Digital Brand Presence

If there’s one question we get asked on a regular basis it’s this: how long is it going to take before I see results? The reality: you can never be too sure. We’ve had some clients see results immediately, while others have taken some time – and that’s okay. Building a digital SEO brand presence takes time. On average, we say give it a couple weeks to begin seeing results. But when results do happen, they usually come flooding in.

A digital brand presence is a living entity that is created, built and thrives on a trifecta of information, communication and audience engagement. And much like a living organism, it must be nurtured and fed in order to grow. This, of course, takes time and won’t magically happen overnight.

As the web grows, it becomes increasingly difficult for new digital brands to make a name for themselves. Companies need to use innovative tactics and full scope marketing strategies to engage and promote. Here’s a couple tactics we use here at Shark Bite SEO that you can practice as well.

Information is everything

We mean this. Useful, relevant information directed at your target audience engages your current audience and builds an all new one. Know what sort of information your audience is looking for and how they’re finding that information. Oftentimes this means using Google Webmaster Tools and Ad Words to discover keywords. The more applicable information you post, the more connected your consumers will be to your product or service.


No one likes a one-sided conversation with another in a face-to-face scenario. The same goes for your digital brand. Communication isn’t a one-way street. It involves listening as well. Keep the lines of communication open and really listen to what your customers are saying. Then, respond. Even negative feedback is a positive because it lets you zone in on areas you need to improve. You’ll be astonished by how a single reply on Twitter or Facebook will go a long way to building rapport with your customers.

All systems engage

It’s not enough to just open lines of communication with your customers. Getting them to engage is what will really push your content to an all new level and speak wonders to boosting your web presence. Hashtags, contests, quizzes and all other calls to action will prompt customers to share and engage with your brand. After all, everyone wants to feel like they’re a valuable part of something.
