The close of the year is upon us and the holidays are finally here! Many business owners take this time to show their appreciation to customers that have supported them through out the year. The holidays are the perfect time to give your business a human touch.

The final quarter of the year is prime for creating memorable moments with your followers and social media platforms. Sharing the people side of your business is a great way to boost brand awareness and capitalize on the loyalty of your customers. This year we gave our clients a handful of ways to show the heart of their company for the holidays and invite their customers behind the scenes of their business. You might be surprised at how many of these things you’re already doing.

  1. Prepare a plan for your holiday/end-of-year festivities including company parties & service projects. Sharing pictures from your holiday office parties and other fun events is a great way to make your brand memorable. Be sure to assign an un-official picture taker (in-house photographer) for your company’s holiday parties, dinners and celebrations.
  2. Create deals, events or specials you can run to emphasize client appreciation. Remember to focus on the value add of your offering. Here’s a great example from Whole Foods, hosting a free holiday tasting for their customers.
  3. Seize the moment and capture new customers! Now is the time to run a festive and engaging contest or give-away on Facebook! Boost your presence and your profits!
  4. Go digital with your holiday cards. Create fun and engaging holiday cards to send to your customers digitally and share across your social media platforms!
